AVTECH’s PBO Academy training courses, in cooperation with the Gulf Centre for Aviation Studies (GCAS) and Independent consultants, focus on how Performance Based Operations (PBO) can increase capacity and improve operational efficiency in aviation areas experiencing rapid expansion, such as the Middle East region.
The first two PBO Academy seminars have now been completed and amongst the participants were stakeholders and executives from various aviation authorities in the UAE region.
The concept of PBO Academy addresses two issues:
How the flexibility of the PBO-solution on the one hand is designed to relieve the current and ever increasing capacity constraints in the Middle East region and in addition, how it can enable an actual increase of that same capacity and efficiency in any given aviation region in the world.
AVTECH Middle East LLC CEO, Lars GV Lindberg, said:
“This is an opportunity for the Middle East region, in our view the most exciting aviation region in the world. With the establishment of our PBO academy we are now able to spread our knowledge of Performance Based Operations (PBO) even further to all the major stakeholders of the region.”
Additional courses are being planned by PBO Academy for the near future.
